CARB2 is required by law in California. Every BWC cabinet meets it.
California is the only US state that legally requires CARB Phase 2 certification for cabinets, plywood, particleboard, and MDF sold or installed inside its borders. The standard, enforced by the California Air Resources Board, sets the strictest formaldehyde emission limits in North America.
Cabinets that don't meet CARB2 can't legally be sold to a California address — and many contractors will refuse to install them. It's not a label. It's a safety and legal requirement that protects indoor air quality in your home.
Every cabinet we ship to California is CARB Phase 2 and TSCA Title VI compliant. Certification documentation is available with every order on request, so you can hand it directly to your contractor, inspector, or building department.
If a supplier can't show you CARB2 documentation, they can't legally ship cabinets to California. Ask the question before you buy.

Cabinet installation itself usually does not require a standalone permit if no other systems are being modified.

Great Quality and Super Fast Shipping and Great Customer Service. The Delivery personnel were fantastic, access to my property is narrow and is difficult to access. Driver called to confirm couple days in advance to confirm he could get his 24' box van into the property. At the end of the call he determined that using his pickup truck would be the better choice relieving me of all my worries. Again can't say enough about how smooth this transaction was and the quality is better than I expected at this price point.

I have ordered twice, first order Quality wise was perfect. There was a mix up with shipping and that cost about 10 extra days. The second order arrived on time. Quality was not as good, black stain was easily scratched/scuffed in shipping. The whole shipment was beat up, even had a broken face frame. Which they sent a replacement for 20 days later, they sent the wrong item, they resent the correct one about 5 days later.
Be sure to double check all your cabinets sizes, if you mess up it will cost you at least $400 in shipping for replacements. First set we ordered were a true 1/2” plywood box, second set was 1/2” and 1/4” plywood with less engineering.
All in all they are good cabinets and a good company that wants to service their customers.

I decided to use Buy Wholesale Cabinets in a house that I just remodeled. I was impressed buy the quality of the drawers because they were solid birch with dove tail corners. When they arrived I was not disappointed. The assembly was very easy after watching a few of their instructional videos. Maybe I'm weird but I actually enjoyed putting these cabinets together. After the first couple of cabinets I threw away the directions because it is almost fool proof. I can't tell you how proud I am of myself for the way my kitchen turned out. I am definitely going to use this company again because of their quality and customer service. I highly recommend.

The cabinets are easy to build, and exterior quality is good. My issue is that if you need things on the back end, the warranty claim is slow and they pushback on approving claims without timelines for following up. I have a cabinet where the paint is bubbling in 7 areas inside the cabinet and they’re stating that it’s not a warranty replacement. I’ve only had for 6 months, I called customer care, and emailed photos of the issue. They state they have a year warranty, but if this type of issue isn’t covered then I’m worried. I hope to update with a resolution.

900lbs of cabinets (ready to assemble) all shipped on one pallet w/no damage or missing parts. Assembly was straight forward but I stopped using 3/4 crown staples and 1 1/4 brad nails like Mark does in the video. Felt like they were going to blow out the sides. I switched two 18 ga 3/4" brads for face plates and 1" for the side panels...no blow outs. Seems like pretty good quality stuff, time will tell.

My beach house flooded during one of the hurricanes and completely trashed the kitchen cabinets that were in there. I ordered these, my husband and I built them and my contractor installed them. He could not believe the quality of these cabinets. He actually liked them so much he ordered them for his house and his office. Coming from a contractor that installs cabinets all the time, I think his comments and action speaks volumes. They have been installed now for 6 months and I absolutely love them. They are such good quality.

We’ve had such an incredible experience with Buy Wholesale Cabinets. It’s shocking how high end these cabinets are at such a good price. There is no MDF or plastic type materials used in the construction at all, assembly went very well the YouTube assembly videos are well put together and really helpful. Setting the cabinets went great, my father in law is a general contractor and said the build quality, material quality and ease of install was right there with cabinets his customers buy for $30k. We did the entire kitchen for about $300 more than what Home Depot wanted just to get new doors to “reface” our old 1980’s oak cabinets, that doesn’t include what it would have cost to repaint and add premium hinges to the old cabinets. The soft close doors/drawers are really nice and have adjustable cams to dial them in. Customer Service was great and always got back to me really fast, I had forgotten to buy the back panel for the island and a quick call later they were able to get that order in for me. I’m blown away how nice these turned out and will add more pictures to this review once we have the quartz put on, we went with shaker white. Can’t recommend this company enough.

Buy wholesale cabinets had the best price cabinets for the color we were looking for(black). They did not seem to have that much exposure, but I called and talked with them to build some confidence. I made the order and I am glad I did. The build process was generally smooth(except for the lazy Susan). The lazy Susans are so nice they were very hard to build. (Note - The lazy Susans are HUGE! they are the full depth of the countertop - no wasted space and there is a middle shelf that the middle layer of lazy Susan sits on. Therefore no space in the cabinet is lost.)
Note: you will need a brad Nailer to put these together. If you are not comfortable with wood glue and a brad Nailer... you might want to look elsewhere.

From this point on I will only ever get my cabinets from BWC. The quality of the cabinets for the price can not be beat. But the customer service is what has won me over. Mistakes happen, and they always will, but it is how a person or company recovers from that mistake is what is most telling about who they really are and what they stand for. In my case I had placed my order with nearly a month of extra lead time. Right from the time of placing the order, the customer service was excellent with friendly prompt responses and calls to confirm details.However, the evening before my order was scheduled to deliver, I received a call saying they just wanted to confirm the order one more time before they started to pick and assemble my order…. WHAT??? I was running a project with a very tight timeline and the day before the cabinets were to deliver I find out that they hadn’t even started to assemble them, let alone ship them to me and my order would be another 7-10 days! This was absolutely unacceptable and I let them know it. Well, the BWC team kicked it into action and moved mountains to get my order of 24 cabinets assembled and packed on a truck within 24 hours, and had a dedicated truck drive straight through from Dallas to Maryland to arrive two days later on a Sunday. They owned the mistake and did what they needed to make it right and help me keep my project on schedule. The cabinets all arrived in perfect condition with no damage and they are beautiful. Thank you BWC team, you have won me over for all of my further cabinet needs.

These cabinets are super nice. The company has great customer service. I have assembled and installed cabinets from many different manufacturers. “Buy Wholesale Cabinets” cabinets are top quality. The assembly process is as simple as it gets. Plywood boxes and super square factory cuts make the installation go much better than the lower quality cabinets. Great Experience with this company! Enlarged a bath in an older home and required a selection of vanity cabinets to fill a 74" wall space and plumbing for one sink (impossible to find in a vanity). Needed lots of storage in vanity drawers more than a 2nd sink, as the bath is small. After hours upon hours of researching cabinetry online and in stores I found this company. The reviews closed me.
My first call was with Steve - he picked up on a Friday night after hours! Following week, Steve got on the phone with my contractor so I could be sure I was ordering correct sizes. I also spoke with Arman, the owner and then a front office person. Old fashioned level of service. Hard to find anymore.
I purchased 3 pieces and trim to fit the space. Cabinets arrived in perfect condition and my contractor assembled all 3 in about an hour. The price was unbeatable and the quality is superior to anything found in all of the home improvement stores I shopped. Great company. Will definitely use on our next rehab. Will post photos when the granite top is installed.

I recently ordered my new kitchen cabinets from Buy Wholesale Cabinets. I searched to the end of the internet looking for a deal, and finally found BWC, and I couldn't be happier. Before I placed my order, I called and spoke with Fiona (I believe that's her name), and then Armin, one of the owners also called me. I felt confident that this company would take care of my cabinet needs. I placed the order on line, and Armin then text and asked if I would like the cabinets assembled. I was amazed, because the cost was less, even with additional shipping, for BWC to assemble than my contractor was charging. The cabinets are beautiful! I opted for the shaker gray, with a shaker navy island. I also ordered the roll-outs for every base, and some of the cabinets have glass fronts. I did make a couple of errors in ordering, but when I told BWC about them, they assisted me in correcting them, and got the missed (I misordered--not BWC) items out to me ASAP. Once everything was installed, I realized one shelf was missing in a glass front cabinet. They sent it to me immediately. I am absolutely in love with my new kitchen, and the cabinets are the biggest positive! BWC staff was wonderful in communicating with me throughout the process.

I am a designer/kitchen contractor and have been consistently purchasing cabinets through Buy Wholesale Cabinets for over 3 years and they have been great! Strong and sturdy and well packed. We have done many kitchens/ bathrooms and even a few commercial offices with these cabinets. They are extremely reasonably priced for the quality, far better build than many of the other RTA cabinets I have tried. We recently bought an old farmhouse that needed extensive work. My husband is a cabinetmaker by trade, but since the entire house needed to be gutted, and we were up against s tight deadline, he did not have time to make the cabinets himself. We were very apprehensive to go with RTA cabinets, but with the time constraints it was our only option. We narrowed it down to two companies, but after speaking with Fiona at Buy Wholesale Cabinets and discussing all of the details with her, we decided to go with Buy Wholesale Cabinets. Fiona was very straightforward and extremely helpful answering all of our questions. We needed the cabinets by a certain day and they assured us they would be there. The cabinets arrived on two pallets in the timeframe as promised, with zero damage.
He put the cabinets together with a bead of construction adhesive on each joint and in each groove and then stapled/pin nailed them as well. and they are rock solid. We were most impressed with the wood dovetail drawers as they went together easy and the glides were smooth. He also used wood glue and pin nailed each dovetail and they were rock solid as well.
Overall we are very happy with the purchase and would not hesitate to order from them again, should we need more cabinets. We highly recommend Buy Wholesale Cabinets. Thanks for all your help, Fiona!

I ordered my whole Kitchen from them. I am very happy with the results. I had some issues with the shipping company, some damaged materials and missing hardware, but BWC corrected the issues, replaced the missing cabinet and hardware. I put them together is about 3 days. I liked the finish but my wife wanted to paint them. Overall I am happy for the finished product and the pricing. I saved over 4k dollars over what the same cabinets from a big box store would have cost me. If you are a little handy you can assemble these without a problem. My only suggestion is that they place instructions for all of the different cabinets. There were several cabinets that didn't have instructions. Once you figure out how they are assembled you can figure out the rest.

I ordered these cabinets and they came in good time. I had never done ready-to-assemble cabinets and was a little nervous with what I was going to get, but I am very pleased with the quality! I was able to get great cabinets for much less than buying at the big box stores! I had one cabinet that came with some scratches, but reached out and they have been great to work with to fix the problem! Definitely recommend! We purchased our Charleston White kitchen cabinets on 3/30/23. Received the cabinets at our cabin in northern Michigan on 4/20/23. Many of the packages were torn open and footprints on one, but only four pieces were damaged during transit. They were packed carefully which prevented much more damage. We ordered the replacement pieces on 4/24/23 and received the pieces in perfect condition on 5/9/23. I'm writing this to show others who live a greater distance from Dallas, Texas, that it does take some time for shipping. Thirty nine days total for us. The cabinets are wonderful. The process to assemble was not difficult, but I do recommend using two people. The doors and drawer fronts are made very sturdy and beautifully finished. Dove tailing on drawers were done right and easily assembled. The people at BuyWholesaleCabinets were always friendly and courteous. We would recommend this company to anyone interested in buying RTA cabinets. We love ours.
