From our warehouse
to your California home.
California is one of our most active shipping destinations. Choose Standard or Expedited shipping at checkout — both options are flat-fee, with no surprise upcharges based on order size or California ZIP code.
Orders travel via professional freight carriers that specialize in cabinet deliveries — meaning your shipment is palletized, secured, and tracked from departure to your home.
Delivery is curbside to your home, and a signature is required at delivery. Lift-gate service is standard and available on every California shipment — no forklift or loading dock needed. Have a helper available to move boxes inside once the pallet is on the ground.
Different California, different cabinets.
Style preferences shift dramatically across California. Here's what we see moving in each major region — and which BWC product lines fit each market.
Modern minimalism
Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego lean into clean lines and bold-color statements. Slim Shaker profiles dominate newer Spanish-modern and contemporary builds. Jade green island kitchens are a defining 2026 look in design-forward LA neighborhoods.
Warm + textural
Northern California favors natural wood-tone cabinets and warm neutrals. The Craftsman-bungalow renovation market in Berkeley, Oakland, and the Peninsula drives heavy demand for white oak and grain-forward finishes.
Practical workhorses
Fresno, Bakersfield, Riverside, and San Bernardino markets prioritize value and durability. Investors and contractors running multiple projects choose classic white shaker and charcoal black shaker as their workhorse lines.
Featured cabinet collections.
Every collection below ships to California with full warranty, CARB2 compliance, and our 7–10 day delivery standard. Ranked by what California buyers are ordering most.
White Shaker
Our workhorse line. Pairs with everything — the default choice for most California new-build and renovation projects.
Slim Oak Shaker
Natural grain-forward wood tones with a slim shaker profile. The fastest-growing line for California shipments in 2026.
Jade Green Shaker
Bold modern color in a classic shaker silhouette. A defining choice for LA and Bay Area design-forward kitchens.
Dorian Gray Shaker
Soft neutral gray that works with both warm and cool palettes. A safe choice for resale-focused renovations.
Frameless Ivory White
Warm ivory tone with frameless construction for full-access interior space. Favored by Bay Area minimalist kitchens.
Charcoal Black Shaker
Dramatic contrast for islands and accent walls. Increasingly popular in coastal modern California builds.
CARB2 is required by law in California. Every BWC cabinet meets it.
California is the only US state that legally requires CARB Phase 2 certification for cabinets, plywood, particleboard, and MDF sold or installed inside its borders. The standard, enforced by the California Air Resources Board, sets the strictest formaldehyde emission limits in North America.
Cabinets that don't meet CARB2 can't legally be sold to a California address — and many contractors will refuse to install them. It's not a label. It's a safety and legal requirement that protects indoor air quality in your home.
Every cabinet we ship to California is CARB Phase 2 and TSCA Title VI compliant. Certification documentation is available with every order on request, so you can hand it directly to your contractor, inspector, or building department.
Permit notes for kitchen renovations
California has some of the most detailed residential building requirements in the US. Kitchen renovations that involve electrical work, plumbing modifications, gas line changes, or structural alterations typically require permits from your local city or county building department.
Cabinet installation itself usually does not require a standalone permit if no other systems are being modified.
Permitting requirements vary significantly between California cities and counties. Always confirm with your local building authority before starting work, particularly in jurisdictions with active code enforcement like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the coastal cities.

Will be placing another order soon!

Be sure to double check all your cabinets sizes, if you mess up it will cost you at least $400 in shipping for replacements. First set we ordered were a true 1/2” plywood box, second set was 1/2” and 1/4” plywood with less engineering.
All in all they are good cabinets and a good company that wants to service their customers.

Update: I got a call from BWC and after a review they said they’ll send me a warranty claim replacement, thank you!

The customer service at BWC is amazing as well!

Note: you will need a brad Nailer to put these together. If you are not comfortable with wood glue and a brad Nailer... you might want to look elsewhere.

My first call was with Steve - he picked up on a Friday night after hours! Following week, Steve got on the phone with my contractor so I could be sure I was ordering correct sizes. I also spoke with Arman, the owner and then a front office person. Old fashioned level of service. Hard to find anymore.
I purchased 3 pieces and trim to fit the space. Cabinets arrived in perfect condition and my contractor assembled all 3 in about an hour. The price was unbeatable and the quality is superior to anything found in all of the home improvement stores I shopped. Great company. Will definitely use on our next rehab. Will post photos when the granite top is installed.

He put the cabinets together with a bead of construction adhesive on each joint and in each groove and then stapled/pin nailed them as well. and they are rock solid. We were most impressed with the wood dovetail drawers as they went together easy and the glides were smooth. He also used wood glue and pin nailed each dovetail and they were rock solid as well.
Overall we are very happy with the purchase and would not hesitate to order from them again, should we need more cabinets. We highly recommend Buy Wholesale Cabinets. Thanks for all your help, Fiona!

I shopped directly online, selected everything I needed and was able to truly save 50% over a local big box store’s quote. Cabinets arrived in 6 business days from my purchase. No issues, and I found this to be the smoothest big order purchase I’ve made.
I strongly recommend checking them out before spending too much elsewhere!!
