Rustic Kitchen Cabinets
Rustic kitchen cabinets are cabinets with a natural wood finish and visible grain, usually on a shaker door, that create a warm farmhouse or cottage look. Our Rustic Wood line delivers that style in all-plywood, ready to assemble cabinets at wholesale prices.
The Rustic Wood collection spans base, wall, pantry and vanity cabinets in one natural shaker finish, so you can outfit a full kitchen or a full bathroom from a single line. Every cabinet ships flat pack and is priced factory direct.
What makes these cabinets rustic
The rustic look comes from three things: a natural, low sheen finish that keeps the wood grain visible, a shaker door with a recessed center panel, and all-plywood construction. It pairs with butcher block or stone countertops, matte black or aged bronze hardware, and open shelving.

Ready to assemble, easy to install
These are ready to assemble cabinets. They arrive flat pack and go together with the included metal L brackets, no special tools required. Any cabinet with an exposed side needs a finished side panel, BSV for base cabinets, WSV for wall cabinets and USV for pantry cabinets, and base and tall cabinets need toe kicks.
How to choose rustic kitchen cabinets
- Door and finish. Our Rustic Wood line uses a full overlay shaker door in a natural, low sheen finish, the most versatile rustic look. It reads warm without going heavy or dark.
- Countertop pairing. Natural wood works with butcher block for an all warm look, or with light quartz and granite for contrast. Honed or matte stone suits rustic better than high gloss.
- Hardware. Matte black, oil rubbed bronze and aged brass all suit the style. Cup pulls and round knobs lean farmhouse, long bar pulls lean modern rustic.
- Layout and sizes. Base cabinets come in 9 to 42 inch widths and wall cabinets in seven heights, so you can plan around islands, ranges and corners precisely.
- Finishing pieces. Add matching side panels for exposed ends and toe kicks for every base run.

Rustic kitchen ideas
- Farmhouse. Pair rustic base cabinets with a white apron front sink, open shelving and black hardware.
- Modern rustic. Combine the natural finish with flat quartz counters, minimal bar pull hardware and matte black fixtures.
- Two tone. Use rustic wall cabinets with a painted island, or the reverse, to add depth without losing the warm wood feel.
- Cabin and cottage. Run rustic cabinets to the ceiling and use clear glass door uppers to show off dishware.
Caring for your rustic cabinets
The natural finish is easy to maintain. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a mild cleaner, then dry right away, and avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals that can dull the finish. Wipe up spills promptly, especially near the sink and dishwasher, to protect the wood over time.
